Using delicate preservations methods, we create modern, lasting works of art out of your actual wedding flowers. Whether you are gifting this item to a bride or purchasing a cherished keepsake for yourself, we use a collaborative process to individualize each piece to the client's preferences.
We use artful, garden-inspired layering techniques to highlight and preserve the organic beauty and natural perfection of your bouquet. Our pieces are designed with the modern couple in mind to evoke daily reminders of your wedding day.
Email us to begin the process of reserving your spot for bouquet preservation. We will contact you to go over the details of the preservation process and get to know your design preferences.
The bouquet goes through a delicate pressing process in which each flower is individually flattened and preserved to keep its color intact. The final results are carefully arranged in a modern, framed art-piece. The client offers input in the design style and frame type.
Your florals are preserved to keep their exact shape and color. This process keeps the flowers in their three-dimensional form. Unlike simple air-drying, we have developed special preservation techniques that keep each flower's natural perfection and prevent browning, breakage, and other damage to the organic material.
We are now able to offer Resin Artwork of your bouquets. Flowers are suspended in ring holders, bookends, or circular resin pieces.
Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Our current turn-around time is 6-8 months for each order. We want to ensure that each detail of the finished piece is perfected to meet the client's preferences and to last a lifetime.
We can meet you in the Greater Jackson area for pickup after your wedding. We have also worked extensively with brides from out of state. We can provide instructions for any out-of-town weddings to ship us the flowers within 4-5 days after the wedding.
Once we receive your bouquet, we individually inspect each flower for its condition. We also take detailed notes and photographs for reference.
When pressing flowers, we make decisions on which pressing method will result in the best outcome for each flower. Some flowers are pressed completely whole, while others are pressed petal-by-petal and reassembled during the design stage.
Flowers stay in the presses for about 6-8 weeks, with careful inspection to ensure consistent pressure and to avoid discoloration, molding, or breakage.
Once the flowers are ready to be assembled into an art piece, we consult with the client on their preferred design and framing styles. We partner with a local framing shop who we have worked with extensively for the final framing process.
The earlier we know about your upcoming wedding, the better! We recommend reserving a spot as soon as you know your wedding date. Please inquire using the email in the "Contact Us" Section below to begin the process. Among other details, we will ask about the date of your wedding, the preservation method you prefer, and provide instructions on the proper handling of the bouquet until we receive it.
If our agenda allows, we can accept late bookings. Please make sure to keep all bouquets in water and to provide us with the bouquet within 5 days after the event for best results.
We are experienced in preserving bouquets from every kind of meaningful event. We understand the last-minute nature of many Memorials and work with clients to receive the bouquets as soon as possible.
Yes- given advanced notice and enough flowers, we can preserve multiple finished pieces from your bouquet.
For example, you can order a pressed art-piece and add on a resin ring holder with the leftover flowers.
You can also choose to order multiple pressed art pieces, shadowboxes, or resin pieces to give as gifts.
Yes! We are often asked to recreate memorable bouquets. You will be asked to provide us with pictures and we will take care of ordering the exact flowers to begin the preservation process.
We have been able to successfully press many flowers that come from wedding bouquets. However, for some extremely moisture-rich flowers, we recommend using the 3D preservation methods. This can be discussed during the booking process.
We love our customers and we love what we do. Feel free to inquire about the preservation process or set up a time to chat in person or over the phone. Bellini Blooms is a full-service florist serving Jackson, MS, Ridgeland, MS, Madison, MS and the Central Mississippi area.
